Since 1952, the Fan has been graced by a cozy and welcoming presence that is also known as Joe's Inn. An establishment that is equally as appealing to locals as it is tourists, Joe's Inn offers breakfast all day in addition to more lunch and dinner geared options, and its full bar has enticing Happy Hour offers.
Upon walking in its doorway in the front corner, you are met with a long bar with a mirror backsplash complete with hanging lights. Black and white photos that have adopted more of a sepia hue line the wall where the booths sit, opposite the bar. The menu is extensive and the coffee continuously runneths over as the attentive waitstaff ensures patrons are never sitting with an empty cup. I have enjoyed many hours sitting in Joe's, basking in its warmth that can be attributed to the wood paneling and the friendly demeanor showcased by staff.
Whether you're hoping to appease a breakfast food craving in an inviting setting or simply want a few drinks, Joe's Inn has you covered. I really could marvel at how lovely it is for paragraphs, but for the sake of a quick recommendation, you will have to take my word here. There is another Joe's Inn located in Bon Air that I cannot speak for, and I believe most locals consider this the authentic iteration while the suburban location may pale in comparison. The charm is unbeatable and the service is on point - if you have yet to go, well, go.
