If you have read any other one of my blog posts, you might have gathered that I'm an absolute sucker for ambiance, for a "vibe," if you will. Honestly you could feed me garbage and if I like your interior decorating and layout, I wouldn't even care. Good thing I don't even have to sacrifice that at Grisette!
Although the space is limited, it's cozy with plenty to observe. Eclectic wall art in beautiful frames line the wall, a neon light reading "holy shit" included, which is essentially all you can muster to say when you try a bite of food (in the best way, of course). Everything on the menu is current to the season and plated in a truly wonderful fashion. The drinks are great with a wide variety of wine included as well. We had a wonderfully helpful and attentive server, Andres, who added so much liveliness to our meal.
I opted for pork milanese while the boyf got steak and frites (as a fry connoisseur, I was smitten). The flavors came together to deliver a rather enjoyable experience. I especially loved the sauce that was on my dish (pictured above). Grisette is owned by the same couple who own Jardin and Beaucoup, and their vision at each location is so evident and inspiring. I'd love to go back to Grisette even on a more casual note and just post up at their bar, but it's also an incredible date night option. As they say, cheers!
